A closer look to the Porsche GT3

The Porsche 911 GT3 is a high performance version of the Porsche 911 sports car primarily intended for racing. It is a line of high-performance models, which began with the1973 911 Carrera RS.

A number of variations, designed for road and track duty, have been introduced since its launch in 1999. More than 14,000 911 GT3 cars have been produced.

The GT3 has had a successful racing career in the one-make national Porsche Carrera Cup series, and the international Porsche Supercup.

Porsche introduced the 991 GT3 at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. The 991 GT3 features a new 3.8 litre direct fuel injection (DFI) flat-six engine developing 475 hp (354 kW; 482 PS) at 8,250 rpm, a Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) double-clutch gearbox and rear-wheel steering.

The engine is based on the unit fitted in the 991 Carrera S, but shares only a few common parts. All other components, particularly the crankshaft and valve train, were specially adapted or developed for the 991 GT3.
For example, the 991 GT3's engine uses titanium connecting rods attached to forged piston, in order to allow the engine to reach up to 9,000 rpm. The dual-clutch gearbox is another feature specially developed for the 991 GT3, based on sequential manual transmissions used in racing cars.

The 991 GT3 is able to accelerate from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds or less,
The GT3 has a claimed top speed of 310 kmph (195 mph).

SPECIAL Bangkok (suite)

At Bangkok, I went in a mall called  JJmall and I visited the Full Option Factory show room.

there was some gear knobs, some carbon fibre parts, some speed metres well... there was every single object in a car.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197 / R197) is a front-engine, 2-seater luxury, limited production supercar automobile developed by Mercedes-AMG of German automaker Mercedes-Benz and was the first Mercedes-Benz automobile designed in-house by AMG.
The car, which has gull-wing doors, was the successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and was described by Mercedes-Benz as a spiritual successor to the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing.

SLS stands for "Sport Leicht Super" (Sport Light Super). The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was assembled largely by hand, with its chassis and aluminum body shell produced by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria and then transferred to Sindelfingen, Germany for assembly, with its engine being hand built by AMG in Affalterbach, Germany.   It is a 2-door roadster (soft top convertible)

Renault Megane RS

The Renault Mégane Renault Sport or Mégane RS is a series of hot hatch models based on the Renault Mégane, designed and built by French automaker Renault since 2004.
The Mégane RS won many awards like five times in a row the "Best hot hatch" from What car? (2010-2014), "Highest placed non-supercar" in Evo’s annual Car of the Year test 2011 and "Best hot hatch" from Top Gear.(source: Wikipedia)

The RS uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 225 PS (165 kW; 222 bhp), allowing the car to achieve 0–100 km/h in 6.15 s (0-60 mph in 6.0 s), with a top speed of about 240 km/h (149 mph).

Ninety percent of the engine's torque is available from 2000 rpm until redline. A twin-scroll turbo minimizes turbo lag, especially when throttle is applied at over 2000 rpm. The transmission is a six-speed manual. Renault's claimed combined economy is 8.8 L/100 km (32 mpg-imp; 27 mpg-US).
