Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV (super veloce)

Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce was announced in March 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show. It features an upgraded powertrain, with maximum horsepower increased to 559 kW (750 bhp) from the standard coupé's 522 kW (700 bhp).

Combined with weight reduction of 50 kg (110 lb) from increased usage of carbon fiber both inside and outside the car the LP 750-4 SV has a power to weight ratio of 1 hp to 2 kg. The car also features increased aerodynamics, with downforce increased by 180% as compared to the standard Aventador coupé.

Notable aerodynamic upgrades are a revised front splitter and rear diffuser, and a rear wing.

Exceptional LFA display at Lexus Singapore

Last week, I received a personal invite from Lexus Singapore to view a rare LFA on display for a very limited time at their flag ship show room.

There are 500 LFA in the world and only 6 in Singapore!!
I had already the chance to copilot the Lexus LFA Nürburgring prototype (see video) in Fuji speedway last summer.

The LFA body features sharp edges and cutoffs for improved aerodynamic performance, made possible by the carbon fiber body. The body was designed with an emphasis on downforce. There are air scoops located over the rear fenders which feed the aft-mounted radiators and help cool the brakes. A horizontal hood gap also feeds air to the engine.
Two small aft vents expel air that is collected by an underbody air scoop and used to cool the titanium exhaust pipes. Dual hood ducts serve to move hot air away from the exhaust manifold.

The first ever Lexus GS-F

Recently, we went to visit Lexus Singapore show room.

The Lexus team was very kind and took the time to explain the history of Lexus.

I had also the privilege to get in a dedicated concealed part of the show room to approach the first ever Lexus GS-F.

The model was actually presented in the recent Geneva motor show.

Specially designed parts such as stacked quad exhaust diffusers, as well as a large front spindle grille and large air ducts, a rear spoiler, plus lower grille molding made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer, provide enhanced cooling and aerodynamic performance and underline and embody the individuality of the F series.
